Perhaps my favourite era for their live shows, and what a storming set!

Plenty of oldies, the whole of the 'Yesterday Started Tomorrow' 12" and a fair few numbers from the yet to be released (at that point...) 'STP Not LSD' album. Several of the STP numbers also feature different lyrics to the final album versions.

Sound quality is excellent, with all instruments and vocals crystal clear. A bit of static in places from a problem mic which is shorting, but nothing too detracting. Overall a fantasic set.

Great sounding show this -- and you get both sets to boot -- a massive 40 tracks in total!

The 2 sets don't differentiate greatly, but set 2 does kick off nicely with a rockin' version of 'California Sun'.

The quality is pretty good throughout with minimal glitches and apart from the bass being a bit quiet the clarity of the whole band is really good.
